about
hey there,
As the writer and reader of so many corporate bios, I’d rather just tell you who I am in the first person. Raised in a four generation household, I learned the fine art of storytelling from my grandparents and great-grandparents. As a kid I was either on a stage, voraciously reading or at the litany of after school activities. Needless to say, my upbringing groomed me for a life of pursuing and identifying great stories.
Soon after college, I headed to NYC with Broadway dreams. Studying at HB Studio and The Second City, I quickly discovered my deep love of sketch comedy. I spent several years performing in the Endangered Improv company with Amy Schumer. At the same time, I was working at Ketchum Public Relations and in a turn of fate (and a lot of hard work) I was one of four founding members of their spin off agency, Emanate. With the creation of Ketchum’s conflict shop, I had to make a decision - and I decided to pursue marketing and public relations as a career. Since then, I have traveled the world working with brands such as Starbucks, Bank of America, FIJI Water, JUSTIN Vineyards, Microsoft, XBox and more.
In recent years I have consulted for brands big and small including Capital One Financial, Ticketmaster, The Tot Squad and Maure luxury gift boxes while returning to my love of narrative storytelling. My work has made it to the second rounds or finalists in the Austin Film Festival, Meryl Streep’s, The Writer’s Lab, The Sundance Episodic Lab, OUTFEST and more. My deep love of story impacts every part of my life. From working with clients to identify what makes their brand or message emotionally impactful to television, theater and my favorite - live storytelling.
I was lucky enough to train with the godmother of storytelling herself, Margot Leitman and have developed a penchant for blending my corporate experience with my creative callings. If you ask anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you I start most conversations with, “what’s your story?” Let's have coffee, so I can hear all about you.
